Welcome to the Renseikan Dojo website.

Welcome to the Renseikan Dojo web site. Our Dojo is under a karate federation known as World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation (W.S.K.F). Established since 1990 in Japan and since 1994 in the UK, Renseikan Dojo (translation: “Practice-Makes-Perfect Club”) has an excellent reputation of delivering a high-standard teaching scheme of Shotokan style karate.

Based in the South Eastern area of England, in Farnham Common and Swindon, our classes are taught and managed by a former Japanese World Champion and an official International Director of W.S.K.F, Ms Tomiko Mitsuoka (7th Dan). Born in Japan in 1948 and trained Karate for over 40 years, Tomiko Sensei (instructor) is a dedicated, friendly and funny teacher with renowned respects from Karate trainers from all over the world.

The members of our club range from beginners to experts, children above 6 years old to adults over 65 years old. Our club always shares a friendly atmosphere and has a earnest attitude to become better karate trainers.
The adult class is taught by Tomiko Mitsuoka (7th Dan) Tomiko also teaches the children's class with the help of Paul Webber (1st Dan) and Andy Hunt (2nd Dan)  Our Dojo practices both traditional and contemporary Shotokan karate techniques. We truly value the importance of basic trainings (Kihon) and Kata (formal exercise), as well as fighting techniques (Kumite).
